We Catch Fish!!
 
Ugly Ducklin' Charters is located at Edisto Island, South Carolina.  We do inshore, nearshore, and offshore fishing charters.  We fish for Red Drum, flounder, and trout inshore, shark and cobia (in season) nearshore, and Spanish mackeral, grouper, black sea bass and King mackeral (in season) on our offshore fishing trips.  We offer half day and full day fishing trips. 
 
 
We furnish all the bait, tackle and fishing licenses.  All you need to bring is what you want to eat and drink, and sunscreen.  Bring a smile and your polarized sunglasses.  Wear weather appropriate clothing.
 
Captain Steve Fralin has fished in these waters for 30 years and been in business at Edisto for 19 years.

River Fishing Rates
 
Fishing for spot tail bass (red drum), trout, and flounder 
 
Half Day - 4 hours
 
1-2 people - $350
3 people - $375
4 people - $400 
 
Nearshore Rates
 
Cobia and shark fishing - $400 half day
 Up to 4 people                 $750 full day
 
Spanish mackeral, King mackeral, spade fish, barracuda and bottom fishing
 
Half day up to 4 people - $575
Full day up to 4 people - $775
 
We accept cash, checks and credit cards.
 
A $15 service charge plus a 10% gratuity will be added to payments made with a credit card.  If you would like to tip the Captain at the dock 10% will not be charged to your card.
 
 
WARNING!!
 
As of 7-1-09, fishing off the banks or beach need to have a saltwater fishing license.  You can get a fishing license at the Edisto Marina. 
 
Buy only pure gas for your outboard motors at Edisto Marina or Edisto Watersports.  Do not use ethanol!
 
Please do not try to kayak to Otter or Pine Island unless you are an experienced, strong paddler.  The current can be extremely swift and rough.  If you call for help, it goes from a rescue to a towing.  Be careful.
